An award winning design student in S Korea, after graduation, Sunhee Hwang attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY where she was a recipient of the American Design Critics Award. After being recruited by Alber Elbaz to work at Geoffrey Beene, Sunhee went on to Anna Sui, Elie Tahari, and Anne Klein as a Senior Designer and VP of Design at Jones NY. Sunhee launched her first collection in 2001, which sold to Barneys, Jeffery, Big Drop, and other boutiques in NY. ONE OF A KIND!
