SUPER RARE Hideaki Kawashima Twin 5 Secret Japanese Karakuri Puzzle Box

Twin 5 is a striking duotone puzzle box that is good for beginners. However, even the most jaded expert will be impressed with the level of woodworking precision required to create this design. The wenge and maple exterior evokes traditional joinery techniques while the hidden mechanism is inspired by a classic puzzle from Karakuri legend Akio Kamei. Twin 5 measures approximately 3 inches on each side and the inner compartment is about 1.5x1.5x1 inches. Designed by Hideaki Kawashima. Made by hand in the Hakone mountains of Japan.
