Sale! J King Pendant Peanut Wood Set in Sterling

This necklace showcases a remarkable gemstone set in a backing of solid silver with a vine design. The 3" x 2 1/2" pendant is a J King design, stamped inside the bail. I paired it with Western Australian natural brown zebra Jasper. The cones and clasp are silver plate. One strand is 19" and the other 21". Peanut Wood gemstone is not made from peanut wood. It is petrified driftwood created in an ancient sea 120 million years ago. Over time the wood sank to the bottom where shipworms burrowed into it and the holes filled with quartz sand leaving the light tan marks on the dark wood. resembling peanuts to some imaginative soul. It is mined in Western Australia
