Women’s Backpacking Boots Salomon Quest 4d GTX New in Box with tags attached Color: Siricco/Mocha Mousse/Almond Cream I have had at least at 5 pairs of these boots and would buy a new one every year. As a landscape gardener, with daily HEAVY use in all kinds of weather, these would last me about 1.5-2yrs. I beat the tar out of these boots. I also have a single pair I keep aside just for hiking and they’re still looking new-ish after years. IMO they’re worth every red cent. Aspects of my career changed so the pairs I currently wear are lasting a lot longer, which means I don’t need this pair I’ve held onto. These boots require little to no break in time (they start off a bit stiff for sure but I didn’t find them to rub and cause blisters ever). The insoles are AMAZING. They are pretty true to size: I’m an 8.5-9, depending on the boot. I wear an 8.5 in Salomon and 9 in Blundstones and Birkenstocks, if that helps. These are great for heavy duty backpacking, regular hiking on varied terrain, any labor work that doesn’t require steel toe.. they’re sturdy, supportive, so comfortable (especially once they settle in a bit), and versatile. Serious offers only. There are expensive and quality boots. Low ballers won’t be considered. I paid full price, this color is harder to get now, and they still retail at $230.
