Hi! The boots are beautiful. Could you please clarify what was added to the bottom sole? It looks like a black pad was added so the boots would have grip in snow/ice.

@cndloulou hello, I wore these once with a costume ballroom dancing so I had suede put on the bottom for the wood floor. They have not been worn outside but easily could be, and yes, the suede bottom would offer better traction outside:)
