This brass belt buckle representing the San Francisco Cable Car is so different & attractive
Even if you're not from California, it's a great buckle for collectors
Across the top of the buckle it says SAN FRANCISCO CABLE CAR
The center of the buckle is a depiction of a POWELL & MASON STREETS cable car
It says MUNICIPAL RAILWAY OF SAN FRANCISCO on the car
At the bottom of the buckle it says ORIGINATED 1873

Back has a loop to put your belt through & a hook to fasten it
On the back it has a line drawing of a cable car & historical information about the cable cars
Top says ONE U.S. HISTORICAL MONUMENT THAT MOVES

SAN FRANCISCO IS THE ONLY CITY IN THE U.S. STILL OPERATING THE CABLE CAR
Has a round tag the says 0-38

Buckle is in very good condition with a small area on the bottom front missing a little of the coating (you can see it in the 1st photo)
