The plaque is a light green rectangle and says in white script: "a baby is the greatest joy and the most beautiful blessing." There is a silver wire, adorned with beads (small silver, pink, clear, lime & white striped, silver, blue, yellow with white polka dots, and white) attached to the top end of the ceramic plaque. This wire allows you to hang the plaque on a nail or a hook. The plaque measures 7 inches across and measures about 4 1/2 inches from the top of the wire to the bottom of the plaque, and weighs 7 1/4 ounces.
