This ring has an estate, deco design. A modern take on a very VINTAGE look! This design was based on the amazing jewelry looks that Harry Winston created in the 1940’s & 50's for well-known celebrities, such as Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy, British Royalty, etc. Harry Winston is known as "The King of Diamonds" and The House of Winston still creates pieces for celebs, such as Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Amal Clooney, Jessica Alba, etc. 5/8 tall & wide oval shape, set with 20 sapphire blue GENUINE spinel baguettes. Spinel is a semi-precious, natural mineral with a hardness scale of 8 ((real diamonds are a 10). Spinels are isometric oxides composed of iron, zinc, magnesium, & trace elements which give them their coloring. The cobalt blue color here is the rarest color of all. The oval halo of 20 spinel baguettes encircle a 7mm round synthetic “diamond” in the center, which is set in a beaded bezel. The whole design is framed by an oval halo border of just over 30 round synthetic “diamonds”, with a few more extending down the front sides of the band too.
