Sarah Coventry Miniature Heart Locket

Heart pendant locket that opens up and closes with no flaws. Exterior front is a red enamel color with the surrounding Goldtone. Minor discoloration of the gold color, due to age with wear, tear and share through the ages. Symbolic design of fleur-de-lis bail pendant & 18" chain. For those of the age that you grew up attending Sarah Coventry home jewelry parties, there was such excitement as you walked into someone's home for the gathering. There was always homemade refreshments, ladies that knew each other, & some brought their granddaughters - or daughter. The jewelry rep had all the demos laid out on a table and the guests were given a brochure with an order form on the back. I was on my best behavior, because I wanted my grandma to get me a pair of pierced earrings! I remember seeing women order quite a few pieces of jewelry and I thought to myself "Wow, they must be rich"! 😄
