emmagrace461 @cmmccall88 hi! Yes sorry I just did. It’s really just the ends of the dress that have water stains. Depending on how tall you are I’m sure you could potentially get that part removed and you’d have a perfectly fine dress. Stains should come out with dry cleaning regardless though!

thepnwboutique Potentially interested! What heel height did you wear when you got your dress hemmed? Is size 8 your street size or the size on the label of the dress? Is there a bustle?

emmagrace461 @thepnwboutique I wore about a 1.5” heel. I bought the dress larger and had it altered so it fits right now just around a 28” waist! No bustle - it had a tie bustle but would need fixing if you wanted that.

thepnwboutique @emmagrace461 Okay, thanks! Would you mind sharing your bust and hip measurements as well? And do you know the original size of the dress before alterations (asking as I have tried a sample dresses for this style so am trying to gauge how much alterations I would need). Also, how far up do the stains go on the front hem of the dress (vs the train)?

emmagrace461 @thepnwboutique sorry for the delay! I am currently traveling. My typical bust is 34-36, waist 28. I believe it was a 12 pre alterations , I would have to go back and double check my original receipt! Stains definitely don’t go as far up in the front but a dry clean should solve all issues! I’d say 1-2” but can confirm once I physically see the dress!
