Gorgeous Ammolite and .925 silver pendant. This beautiful gemstone has an ultralight fluorescence that includes red, blue, green, yellow and orange. It is unusual to have all of these colors in one Ammolite gemstone. Handcrafted with a hammered bail that opens with a magnetic closure. This provides ease in placing this pendant on any chain with ease. No threading the needle! The gemstone hangs from the bail on joint rings to provide movement. The Ammolite is bezel set in beautifully decorated .925 silver. There are two rows of the rope design going opposite directions surrounding the base. The back of the pendant is fully finished and polished. Sarda for Artisan of Bali. Length: 1.75” Width: .75” To clean use a silver polishing cloth. Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineral contained in nacre, with a microstructure inherited from the shell. It is one of few biogenic gemstones; others include amber and pearl. Smoke and pet free home.
