@baamkelly Hi I just checked the waist it is 20" across and you are right that is a large waist
for a size 8. they have stretch also. I would say closer to a XL or XXL but they do have a drawstring 🤔🐾🐾. Thanks for your purchases I will send out tomorrow. 🙂
