jcbone Jeanie #3 I’ve always said they needed gift cards so it will be interesting to see how that goes. It’s a very profitable thing for retailers because a lot of people forget to use them so I’m surprised it’s taken this long for them to come out.

shadow_wings #2 🤖 I blog on Word.pres.s which has an option to have AI generate blog posts. The AI is not reliable. Some of the posts are very generic. Others are cold and lacked warmth, or details you learn from experience. Then I caught the AI straight up plagarizing something I wrote!

shadow_wings @wanderinggypsie ❓ For Thought: AI Generators take a prompt or command from a user to create (images, text, music,). AI basically searches a huge database of existing online input that is matched with your prompt and made into a new creation. 🤖 AI technology is so new that legal and ethical issues have not been regulated. Now Pandora's box is opened you really can't go back.

shadow_wings @wanderinggypsie 🎨 One of the big concerns with AI is that it is so easy to take the work of another person and use it without consent and without crediting the creator. ❓A copyright concern could arise if the AI copies the work of existing companies or designers to create a listing. 🌪 Give AI free reign to generate listings will be interesting...

elle_flower @shadow_wings This is very interesting in a frightening way. I have never been a fan of AI. I feel that it is just pushing a fast fwd button on the dumbing down of our society as is allows us to lean even more heavily on technology.

shadow_wings @elle_flower - Some skill is needed to write effective AI prompts. The big concerns I hear most often - Taking the work or ideas of others to use in prompts. The creator is not giving permission, not compensated and not credited. Example: Using Monet as a prompt, creating the image of an oil painting in the likeness of Monet. The image is then used to generate income or promote a business.

shadow_wings @elle_flower @wanderinggypsie 👱🏻‍♀️ The other big concern with AI is that you can use the name of a living person, public figure or celebrity in a prompt and create a fake image, fake persona or use their likeness without consent/permission. That can actually be damaging or dangerous.
