blu3b3rri3s I think if you tell the person you'll seek legal action (which I personally would if it's for almost $1,000) and you will contact the police, they may refund you. Also, your bank will most likely be able to help you. I googled about chargebacks with apple pay and some people said that they got their money back. Was it a user on Poshmark and if so, who? I will help warn others. Good luck!

aprilmicheller @johannaerr wow i’m sorry girl! what a horrible person!! but i agree with person above, try calling your bank! i’ve had a charge on my cc before that i didn’t make and saw it later on my transactions, called my bank and they were able to remove it and give me my money back. i know it’s the not the same situation but if you’re nice on the phone and explain everything you may get a nice customer service person that can help you out.

johannaerr @augustcms if you buy with them they will cancel and try to get your phone number. They also provide receipts but not the original ones. So far looks like it’s run buy a couple of guys. Phone number says AR but the police will track them.

I got sketched out when I asked for some form of identity and they had “No” FB or IG for me to check out... and kept texting when I had told them I was at work.... My scammer was @j_chanelpenny and the # they were using was 702-536-8419! Hope any of this helps! Feel so bad for the victim above. Thanks guys for looking out for others! Much appreciated!!!

laurarossy At least they were dumb enough to say in the texts they never sent it. That will now make the bank 100% side in your favor. Just show that message to your bank and the police. Also, now they are definitely harassing you and you should tell them to stop messaging you unless they either give you the bag (which they won't, they don't have any bags, it's a scam with other ppl's pics) or refund you. Also Cathy, if you want her to take it down, be a decent human and refund her.

laurarossy Tell them to refund via the original payment method or you'll take this to court. I'd also start contacting their family members on FB letting them know what they're up to and asking them to talk sense into them. That may be far but if they're unwilling to cooperate by trying to reason with them, you have to do what you have to do and they deserved to be called out.

laurarossy I also emailed Posh and they're doing their own investigation. Your CC company is going to side with you anyway though so these scammers are the only ones who are going to lose. So tbh I wouldnt be the one stressing or worrying, they should. They aren't going to keep the money and they also will have to face criminal charges unless they refund you soon.

johannaerr @laurensmaragdas FaceTime with the seller or ask for their Social media as a security, make sure you see everything the bills (name has to match like on their id), the serial numbers. And ask yourself if it worth it. Pay extra money but be safe.

laurensmaragdas @johannaerr But if the purchase is done through Posh, aren't they responsible? I thought that they hold the money until I confirm the item has safely been received and is what I paid for.

johannaerr @laurensmaragdas if you buy through posh, they will check for you if the item is real or not and then send it to you. If not they refund you. If the seller seller cancels, posh will refund as well. Either way you are on the safer side with poshmark. Btw I checked out her profile, it just seems very fake and the pictures look very familiar. I wouldn’t do it, but your decision. Good luck. If it’s too good to be true it’s a scam.

leena_vo @laurensmaragdas you can try and make an offer to her but 100% she will cancel your offer and ask that you contact her bc posh charge a big fee etc. then she will ask you to pay her thru any cash app such as google pay, Apple Pay, zelle etc. but you can test her out and see. There was a comment that was made on her page and she deleted it bc u said she was s scammer.

laurensmaragdas @leena_vo Hey girl, no she was giving off some shady signs yesterday and then completely went ghost. I should have known it was a scam when she offered to drop it from $1100 to $700 if I paid by Zelle. Even if Posh charged a fee, its nowhere close to how much she was willing to drop it by.

laurensmaragdas @leena_vo After I sent her a final text saying it needs to be done through Posh or not at all, I got these random texts/calls all hours of the night from diff numbers trying to sell me the same bag. How else would they get my number other than lisatutelli. All in all, these scam artists put in a lot of effort to harass their victims. I'm very happy that I decided not to go forward with it.

If they have bags for sale at a way below retail price and they're brand new and the posher just joined....it's probably a scam.
