Scammer Alert!

I know this lady has been ALL over poshmark trying to buy items privately - not through the poshmark platform - working in law, I took the bait to see how this scam actually worked out. She’ll email & text you saying she’s sending a check and will have someone pickup the dress. From there, she’ll say she sent you some money for “movers” and ask you to send money via Walmart, PayPal, Zelle, etc. you’ll receive a cashiers check (called to validate the check, it was real, but from an account not matching this “Mariana” person 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, they’ll ask for money to be sent, the check will be returned as “fraudulent” and all received funds will be returned out of your account. Any money spent from the check sent to you YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE BANK BACK. There’s no way to report her on here, and obviously they’re just keeping up with it and moving on to the next person trying to trick them. Stay safe, everyone! Always sell through the platform. I was smart enough to figure out this girls scam to inform others. Thanks!
