Schiaparelli glove dress

Although not vintage, this current season Schiaparelli dress - designed by Daniel Roseberry - pays homage to Elsa Schiaparelli’s historic “claw” gloves from 1935, currently housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A leather version was famously worn by Beyoncé at the Grammys , the gloved sleeves here are also adorned with gold nails. Matching the gold toned back zip closure & zip pull (carved to Schiaparelli’s keyhole emblem ofc) This iconic dress - in pristine condition NWT -is beautifully cut to contour one’s shape with a gathered bodice and all over ruching. A draped off the shoulder neckline can be folded down for a more daring look or pulled over to create elegant straps Few were made, & currently none are available except for in-store at the Schiaparelli atelier in Paris. She’s popular. Size on tag: 36 FR, approx a US 4 or S, fabric has a bit stretch to it Pristine condition never worn with tags . Comes with Schiaparelli branded hanger and plastic garment bag.
