Scott McClintock 80’s Vintage Skirt Suit / Coord Set

Reposhing this fabulous item I purchased from @mountainlaurel. It’s absolutely gorgeous, but I’m illl and need the money. This set is absolutely stunning! The blush pink fabric has a subtle shimmer, and the lace detail on the shoulders is very intricate. This piece is perfect for those into cottagecore, regencycore, fairycore, or lolita fashion. I never really got the chance to wear it more than trying it on, and I received it in excellent condition. I haven’t noticed any flaws, no stains or rips in the lace. I would say it fits a small or medium in modern sizes. Being vintage formal, the fabric is thicker and firmer than a casual outfit or modern formal would have, so keep this in mind when deciding if it would be a comfortable fit. If you require stretch or have sensory issues with starchy formalwear, you may find it difficult to wear. This blazer skirt set was made during the Victorian revival of the 80’s, so it could also be an excellent costume piece for both eras. From Bridgerton to Stranger Things, there are many options for incorporating the set into cosplay. Pairing the blazer with a longer, fuller skirt would be an easy way to bring out its Victorian inspirations, while matching the set with some large clip on earrings and a big, curly hairstyle would be a perfect 80’s look.
