Vintage Scuola Del Cuoio Snake Skin Leather Gold Tone Metal Cuff Bracelet - Firenze, Italy This bangle was made in Firenze, Italy. "Scuola Del Cuoio" translates to "Leather School". Please scroll down for a bit of their history. It fits wrists up to 6 inches. It is 1/4 inch (6mm) tall by 5mm deep. The inside measurements are 2 3/16 inches (55mm) by 1 3/4 inches (44mm). The clasp is part of the design, it opens like a gate. The logo initials CG resemble a famous Italian designer logo. It's also the initials for my shop CoutureGarage - what a great coincidence! They are actually the initials for the school's founders, Marcelo Gori and Silvano Casini. From their website, they are still in business to this day: "It was 1950 when Marcello Gori, together with his brother-in-law Silvano Casini, accepted the task of teaching war orphans the art of working leather and hide in what was the Novitiate of the Franciscan Friars, inside the Convent of Santa Croce.
