Scuola del Cuoio vintage 1950s Bag

Classic Scuola del Cuoio 1950s boxy handbag in black leather, with sturdy double leather carry handle. Bag is from Florence Italy Gold metal front clasp in a double twist turn lock style. Red leather interior with Concertina style: opens out with 6 internal compartments, two of these have working zipper closure and two are snap closure coin compartments. Leather exterior is embossed in gold around the edges with silver inlay. Measures approx 10”x 7" x 1 1/2" (closed expands to 8”) and has a handle drop of approx 5". Bag is monogrammed with the letters NPS under the flap This bag has some signs of age including slight scratches in places; but still in really good condition.
