It features a smooth surface that is gentle on knives. The natural wood grain and carved pattern makes this a beautiful, elegant piece to display while not in use. Stand on its side to completely dry. *DO NOT wash in the dishwasher *DO NOT submerge in water *To keep your board looking good and to protect it, apply a thin coat of food-grade mineral oil or board butter. Apply to both sides of the cutting board monthly or as needed to protect it.
