@liongypsy oh honey π I hate saying goodbye. My love is not in the service, but his job called him away for months at a time (we travel with him now). Posh has been an excellent diversion when I was missing him.

@reann1983 managed to have some quiet time this morning (lol!) And just finished reviewing the pattern. It's 14 skeins of yarn in a DK/fingering weight and they usually run about $4-15 depending on the brand/size.

That size can take a hot minute to work up depending on pattern complexity but parts of it look relatively simple stitch-wise from the photos. I won't be able to know more without having the pattern as she does list exactly which colors/brand she uses in it. I'm sure it's something I can do just hard to quote materials and time without being able to read the pattern yet. (:

@reann1983 no I feel you I wouldn't pay that either. I can't imagine charging more than $200 for them. Would depend on what that yarn is for the most part. 3.25mm hook is a very small hook. I'm working on a project for myself in that size and it can definitely take awhile especially with kids so I totally understand where the other woman is coming from haha!

@liongypsy I get it. I burn into clothing like leather and ect and itβs tedious and I am busy. I understand that but I wasnβt in a rush but my friend just has a full load. Iβve asked around and what ppl usually tell me is how about I teach you how to do it? Lol I am up for things but Iβm not going to learn that fast! Itβs totally up to you. If you can work it in I am just happy with something similar. I have wanted them for years but like I said her price is way out of my league.

Hey everyone, Iβm the original designer of the car seat covers. I donβt know whatβs going on here butttt Iβm here to say that I donβt charge $700 for a pair of these. I charge $390. The cost of yarn alone is $75. Right now Iβve been declining requests for custom orders cause I had a baby. The pattern is still up in my shop though.
I think I had a listing for a complete set including back seat covers priced for around $700 but Iβve never made a complete set for anyone other than myself.
