songfulmind @my_closet2u Hello Marisa! I have added three more photos to the listing in hopes that that would answer your question. I'm not real sure that there is a pat answer, as the chemise/robe can be pulled together to overlap for a tighter fit but when I do lay the item down and fold it at the seams on both sides you get almost 22 inches from seam to seam. Hope that helps!! 😍

songfulmind @my_closet2u also, I should mention that the robe would actually accommodate a fit much larger than what is measured as you can let it hang open. Hope that make sense... It is a really cute piece... 🤗
