Beautiful, sleek curves and rounded beveled edges throughout. The clock face has black Roman numerals with a glass, convex crystal that reduces glare. The dial is raised from the wood slightly and bordered with a gold band. Has both Westminster and Whittington Chimes Selections (with Volume control) OR you can turn off the chimes completely. Quarter - hour chimes. The clock is raised from the surface it rests on with 4 brass legs that are ~ 1/8" tall. Adds elegance and 'speaker' is lifted from surface.
