UNRELEASED Selkie Queen Bee Puffy Sleeve Slip Dress - brand new with tags. This 100% silk gown was not released on the Selkie site, but was sent out as a mistake as a piece in the luxury item mystery bags. I bought this from a mystery bag recipient overseas, and the price reflects what I paid in GBP. Silk floor length dress, puffed sleeves with ribbon detail, top has shaped cups with lace detail. 2XL on newest size chart & never worn.

lamaximalia I’d purchase if it was my size! I got a slip dress in my luxury sample bag too and I keep reading about a “slip debacle”. Do you have more info on the slip dress mishap? I’m simply curious 🥰

reiseliza @lamaximalia I gambled on this and unfortunately lost! What happened was, for people who bought the luxury sample bag, some accidentally got slip dresses (this and a light pink one) on accident—I don’t think these were samples but new stock for their Chinese store. The people who got them received something like a $50 refund and advice to resell the dress at a much higher price…and I bought it at resale. 😅

lamaximalia @reiseliza omg wow that’s wild! Yet makes sooooo much sense!! I must have gotten one of those slips. I got something called the Bebe Slip Dress and I love it. Maybe mine was a mistake too! A happy mistake though.

reiseliza @meaganoyster this one is a bit tricky with the cups, but laid flat, it’s 24” armpit to armpit, 25” across the smallest part of the waist. I just didn’t have the chest to fill this out, unfortunately!

meaganoyster @reiseliza thanks, I'm assuming you tried it on does it fit snug, or flare out any. I usually wear a 2x from selkie but I have belly just worried it would be tight around that area.

reiseliza @meaganoyster I think it honestly will depend on your shape! This was very big in the chest on me (I wear a 2X in day/vacation dresses because I like them loose—but my 44” chest could’ve used 2-3 more). I also have an unusually long, rectangular torso and this was cut with the average torso in mind—it just sat so awkwardly on me. Idk if I’m an anomaly, but my heart says this fits larger in the chest than a 2X day dress but maybe slightly smaller in the waist.

reiseliza @nkolika sure! Laid flat, it’s around 24” across at the smallest part of the waist and opens up to about 30” at the hips.
