Sequined Gown / Vtg / Scarlett Q Sequined Halter Gown / 1920s style

fabulous sequined halter gown in the style of the 1920s in the colors of a dark mermaid. The dress has a straight dropped waist silhouette with a gather and slit at one side embellished with a sequined flower. the halter neck has two strong hook and eyes and those are the only closures. The beaded layer is silk and it's fully lined in rayon. This dress would be so perfect for a Great Gatsby themed formal event. It's in perfect condition but the fit must be given some careful consideration. I tried it on, I am size 8-10, 136lbs, 5'5", 38-30-41 It was too long in the bodice for me. a little too big in the cup area Also too tight in the hips and seat. but too big in the waist. The open back has a straight across top edge, it's a little gathered but doesnt really hug the body. Here are the flat measurements: armpit to armpit: 18" waist area: 19" hip: 20" length from the back of the neck to the hem: 58" It might need some work by your seamstress to tailor it perfectly for you.
