Set of 5 sterling silver small ice cream spoons by Gorham in the Versailles pattern with monogram. Monogram appears to be AEL on the back of the handle Gorham's Versailles is a multi motif pattern designed by Antoine Heller in 1885. Named for the Palace of Versailles, the pattern depicts ornate scenes of Classical figures. Hallmarks date these spoons to the last quarter of the 19th Century. Measures approx 5 1/8" long, 1 1/8" wide across bowl. Weighs approx 107.8g, 69.3dwt total. Marked lion anchor G STERLING Very nice condition with some slight scratches and mild tarnish.
