Vintage 1990s Antique (set of 2) NORITAKE Stoneware Japan NEW WEST 3.75" Red Green White Santa Fe Ceramic Coffee Mugs Cups Replacements The Noritake NEW WEST pattern was released in 1991, and discontinued by 1999 or 2000. It was a wildly popular design, and a major win for the Japanese fine porcelain manufacturer. It was probably looked upon as “dated” by the turn of the century, when fashion saw a drastic rehaul…and now, with patterns, designs, and stylistic expressions borrowing heavily from the 1990s/Y2K, the Noritake NEW WEST pattern is again in high demand…unfortunately, it’s long out of production, and finding sets and pieces in top tier condition has become less easy. These mugs measure roughly 2.75" in diameter x 3.75" deep/tall, and are free of chips, cracks, and crazing. Sold as pictured.
