ABOUT Very little is known about the Le Mieux China Company, My research shows some believe it was: 1) Merchants and importers Of European goods based in Paris and New York dating 1910-1940s. 2) French factory destroyed during WWII (Cited from: https://www.antiquers.com/threads/le-mieux-china.8966/) 3) From Pickard China which was located in Antitoch, Ill. 4) Made in France, probably Limoges. I believe it was a company located in the Chicago area that bought blanks (undecorated china pieces) from Limoges, Pickard, and many other manufacturers of high quality porcelain. They then added their hand painted designs from Baroque to Mid Century Modern featuring the exquisite use of 24k Gold.
