Set of Four Handcrafted Wool-Wrapped Cloisonné Bangles

I received this set of traditional Asian bangles from my landlord’s wife when I was living in San Francisco as an apology gift for the fact that my heat was out repeatedly during the coldest part of the winter ❄️ In their original form they were not my style and I was looking for something more neutral and versatile. I wrapped each bangle in wool yarn—slightly different colors and textures. The yarn is secured with a series of knots and, in the case of one bangle, a drop of hot glue that is hidden inside the knot. I wore them gently but regularly for about a year and a half until I injured my wrist and now putting them on and taking them off is too painful. They have some heft to them as they are metal under the fiber, so keep this in mind when considering. Measurements and details in photos. Smoke-free and puppy-friendly home.
