First introduced in 1941 by Gladding, McBean & Company and created by designer Annette Honeywell of Los Angeles, Desert Rose was designed to give it a West Coast feel with its hand-painted clusters of vibrant pink flowers, olive green stems on a cream background, and graceful brown branches as trim for each piece. This pattern has become a classic and many lovers of fine porcelain dinnerware are still drawn to its unique design and vintage charm. Perfect for salad, tidbits, or dessert, these plates are just what you need whether you want to add to your existing collection or wish to start a new one. They sell for $16 a piece on a renowned china website. I am offering them at a great price considering that they are longer manufactured. In excellent pre-loved condition, no chips, nicks, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. Crafted in England, made of the finest Earthenware, each plate measures 7 7/8” in diameter. Microwave and dishwasher safe, however, I recommend handwashing to preserve their beauty. Please note that photography lighting sometimes affects colors and hues.
