This set of two gorgeous pillowcases are made from thick (22 momme) genuine mulberry silk in a peachy rose gold color. The fabric is a satin weave, which is even softer than my other silk pillowcases, which have a habotai-like weave, and gives it a beautiful sheen. They are machine washable for easy care, and have a hidden zipper closure so your pillow doesn't slip out in the middle of the night. One of these is brand new, and the other was used once, laundered on the gentle cycle in a mesh bag, and hung up to dry. (I opened it at night, and realized it didn't quite go with my duvet after I saw it in daylight.) Be aware that these are *queen size* pillowcases, 20"x30". Standard pillows are 20"x26" and king size are 20"x36". If you've never slept on silk, I highly recommend it (unless you're vegan). Besides feeling super luxurious, it has been wonderful for my hair - less friction means less breakage, and extends the life of your style, especially for ruin wavy/curly/coily hair and blowouts. It is also good for your skin, especially if you burn easily like I do.
