Set of two Delphite Sherbet Glasses, Jeannette Glass

This is a set of two blue depression glass sherbets from the Jeannette Glass Company. The design, known as the Doric pattern, dates from 1935 to 1938. It features two horizontal rows of panels, with a patterned square alternating with a plain one on the top row. These sherbets are in pristine, unused condition, standing approximately 3.5 inches tall and measuring the same across the opening. They are free of chips, cracks, scratches, or stains, and have a translucent quality. The distinctive blue color is referred to as delphite, and it is highly collectible.
