This is a gorgeous gown that was shown at LA Fashion Week in 2011 and it is a one-of-a-kind piece that did not get put into production. It is made by Project Runway Season 7 winner, Seth Aaron. The top part has a vinyl trim that creates a sweetheart neckline and one shoulder piece. It connects in the back with two hooks and a buckle at the waist. The main material is this stunning shifty fabric that is purple and gold. It has a large slit in the center and the fabric is semi-sheer, so wear with either shapewear or even over pants. It could be worn as part of a Halloween costume - warrior, goddess, witchy woman, priestess, etc. Overall, it is in very good condition, but the bottom hem is worn and could either be cut off or hemmed. Even with the flaws, it's such a special piece and you're not going to find anything like this! I think the fabric is most likely some type of polyester or acetate. I would dry clean it. Made in the U. S. Measurements are approximate. Bust - 32-34 Waist - 25-27 Hips - free Length - roughly 83 (definitely best for a taller person - I am 5'11" and this was still past the ground on me)

seanasny @tessaclaborn I bought this from a boutique in Portland, Oregon when I lived there. Seth Aaron was friends with the owner and was selling his one-of-a-kind runway pieces.

tessaclaborn @seanasny Finding that in a boutique is crazy lucky! I just assumed the designers kept the collections

seanasny @tessaclaborn It really depends from designer to designer - often after a few years they do sell runway pieces.
