She has been so very helpful and kind to me already! I was wondering how you get a Host Pick? Do they find you by searching your closet or do I need to suggest an item to them (if so, how do I find the HOSTS? LOL) Also, how do I get my items in the view of others...sharing my closet? How long does a new item I list stay on the "top" of the "SHOP" section? (Do I need to update it every other day to keep it there?) SO MANY questions, so little time...LOL!

mytherapy @tdcjsa03 Tonya, sorry it has taken me all day to respond! Not sure if you got your questions answered, but I'll try. As for host picks- first rule is a Posh-rule following closet! Make sure you only have women's clothing listed, and stay away from the no-no list (provided by PM as well as listings on many Poshers' pages-if you can't find it, let me know and I'll help you). Beyond that, tagging the hosts with items is good, or just asking them to look in your closet works too. The hosts usually announce their parties a few weeks in advance, if you are in a "party tag list" you find out, or the parties for the week are posted in advance on the Poshmark blog. As for getting others to see your closet- share, share, SHARE! The more often you share, the more your stuff gets seen. I don't have time to share constantly during the day, so I do my best. Also sharing for others is usually reciprocated, which is nice bc that Posher may have a completely different list of followers who see your item when she shares it. So share for yourself and others. mytherapy The hosts may be following you, depends on if you've interacted with them. Lots of Poshers get asked by PM to be hosts, I'm not sure of all the criteria but I think it has something to do with how awesome their closets are, how much they interact with the community, etc. So the hosts are just regular Poshers, they follow and share so you may have come across one. Different hosts for the party every night. Here's what I'd suggest- tomorrow night, "attend" the party, check out the hosts and their closets (click on their pics on the party home page) go to the Host Pick Showroom, see the picks. It may give you a better idea of how the HP thing works. It is very confusing at first, but you'll figure it out in no time. Happy to help, love that you are asking questions! 😘
