would this halter top be supportive in a 5X
aviatortwin
@angelanichols89 Hi Angela, I believe so, because you control the amount of support with the halter tie. If you tie it tightly, it should give you the amount of support you are looking for. The reviews for this suit have been very good. I am smaller, but a 34DD, and I feel supported with this suit. If you have any more questions, I will be here:)

I wear a size 16 typically but my measurements for waist and hip are bigger than the size chart... what do you recommend?
aviatortwin
@shaylaelise Hi Shayla, Hmm, comparing the size chart to a standard US size chart, the bust and waist fit within a standard size 16, but the hips are just a bit smaller. The hips on the 5XL are a closer match to the standard size 16. I’m currently out of the 5XL, and will be restocking in early January. Are the hips the area you are concerned with?

When choosing a size to order, we are supposed to select the True Size on the chart, not the tag size on the chart?
aviatortwin
@laurel212 Hi Laurel, this suit runs small, so even the true size can be tricky. If you would like to tell me your normal dress/pants/bra size, I can help you find your best fit. If you don’t know your dress size, even your T-shirt size would be helpful.

@aviatortwin I'm a 38C. Usually a size L in most things, between a 12 and 14.

@laurel212 I would go with the 2XL (True Size), and don’t pay attention to that number, this suit is just really tricky to size;-)

@aviatortwin Thanks! Are the measurements for the sizes for when the garment is stretched or unstretched?
aviatortwin
@laurel212 The first number is un-stretched, and the second number is stretched. I also just checked the measurements against the standard size chart that I use, and I think that you would be comfortable in the XL ‘true size’.

@aviatortwin I just measured, and my waist and hip measurements fall in the 3xl True Size range (I'm curvy). So maybe I should go with that size?
aviatortwin
@laurel212 If you are normally a 12-14, I don’t think the 3XL would be too big on you, as the bottom size of that is a 14. The just checked the numbers, and they are accurate, so if you fall within the 3xl range, I think you would be happy with it.
