Handmade 2-Piece Egyptian Bedlah Bra & Skirt Belly Dance Costume Sz: S/M Brand: handmade Measurements ( these are approximate measurements since the costume has a non-traditional fit-the skirt is made with shimmery spandex): - Bra: (Adjustable (the hook would need to be moved) currently I believe it would fit a 34C/D - Skirt: Waist 26-28 ( might be able to get a bit more out of it) Hips 34 to 36 ( keep in mind the widest part of your hip will be showing) Length 43-44 *Based on my research, I believe the belt is attached to cover the belly button, adhering to new modesty laws enacted around the 1950s. These laws continued to be enforced until the late 1990s or so. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Costume has not been cleaned but has no unpleasant odors. Some stitching on the insides of a bra cups is coming undone, as well as underside of the bra straps- not visible when worn. -all the beadwork appears hand done. There are some areas where you can see the outline for where the bead work was supposed to go. -Interior tailoring is slightly messy but not visible from the outside. -Adjustments can be made to the bra size by repositioning the hook-and-eye closure. * The costume is heavy and weighs approximately 3 pounds unpacked.
