Shafford Cambridge Creamware Teapot Embossed Lid Swirls Beads Ceramic Japan Vtg READ Approximate Dimensions: 6" Tall 8 3/4" Wide (Including handle and spout) An exquisitely designed teapot from Shafford in the Creamware line Made in Japan. This teapot is embossed with an alternating raised beaded and open leaf design accented on the sides with three small raised dots resembling a small flower bud. The design is in a diagonal pattern on the body much like a swirl. The handle has a twisted rope design. The upper rim is scalloped. The lid of the teapot carries the same design on a smaller scale. The underside is stamped in blue with "Shafford Creamware, Strata Group" Pre-loved. No noted chips, cracks or crazing. I did note 2 small dots, shown in close ups in the last 2 photos and circled.
