lexymarie Oh how awesome. Kauai is one of the islands that still has the old Hawaii look.....so much of it untouched by industries. It's gorgeous. I live on the Big island where the east side is like old Hawaii, then you have the west side where there is nothing but business, too many houses, and tons of tourist all year round. I guess it balances out the economy of the island 😙 do you visit every year? Are u from the islands originally?

aschivley We try to go once a year at least, not originally from the islands but my hubby would love to retire there! Kauai is our favorite, we honeymooned there and this is like our third time there 😊 we went to Kona a couple ears ago and Maui the year before that. Couldn't go to Hawaii last year since we bought a house and I was preggo with my little boy so we're super excited to go this year kid free!

lexymarie Aww how sweet. It's like having a honeymoon every year :) you can renew your vows on your anniversary at some point. Retiring here is great because everyone is so laid back here and plenty aloha to go around. How old is your baby? Doesn't having a child make you fully appreciate the time you get to spend alone? Lol. My babies are both in college and hopefully soon, I can think about retirement too.

aschivley I would love to renew my vows there one day! And yes the kiddos make us appreciate our alone time for sure. My daughter is 2.5 and my son is almost 6 months 😊 lucky you getting to think about retirement soon on the Hawaiian islands!

lexymarie Yes nice to think about but my grown kids need to take a money management class first.....lol, otherwise I might have to work for sure till retirement age. I was hoping to retire at 55 but it's not looking too promising😙 okay I'm going to purchase the top b4 I get some sleep. So nice chatting with you. lexymarie aww,,,,,,seriously. I sent it to your email alisab046@gmail.com. I might have to cancel it. I think it was dated 07/16. I'll cancel that one and just send you the money for a priority mail flat rate envelope and you can purchase the label from them lapyap ( its backwards cause they block you from sending messages with that name....lol.
