Vintage Peasant Style Shawl – Russian Platok (Babushka) 36" x 36" 100% Cotton
A very understated and beautifully flowered scarf/shawl manufactured in 1970s Russia/USSR is a must-have to add some pizzazz to your wardrobe.
36" square and fringed.
Use it as a shawl or a wrap for the beach, any way you wear it, it will make heads turn.
As the shawls are hand-made, each has its character and might be slightly different from another.

@classwithin Hi, the first photo shows 3 different shawls, which one would I get? Also some of the other photos show what looks like a cream colored background, and I need a white background, in 100% cotton. Could you please explain? Thanks. Cici.

@tcflorida, You get random from what is shown, unless you want a specific one. The background of all of them is the same, it might look slightly different in photos because of the lighting. The background looks to me like what in the painting is called antique white. They are all 100% cotton. Please let me know what specific type of flowers you prefer. Also, I want to add that they all are handmade and painted so they all are slightly different. Thank you so much for your interest!

@classwithin Hi, thanks for getting right back with me. Of the three shown in the top picture, I like the one on the upper right the best, where the flowers are more of a dark pink/red as opposed to the softer pink color of the one on the bottom. I don’t like the one with yellow flowers, because I just don’t like yellow. How much would it be for the red and the pink one together (top right and bottom in the first picture)? Thanks. Cici.

@tcflorida, I created a new listing with the pair of shawls that you like, so you can buy them as a set. Their pictures have more contrast I think, to allow you to see the details better. I wanted to mention that I showed the shawls to some people here and asked them what they think the background color is and they told me that it is a light cream with a bit of yellow (which I know you don't like). I am for full disclosure and full satisfaction of my buyers.
