Shelli Segal black silk halter neck cocktail dress, size 8

This silk chiffon LBD from 2007 proves that chic and sexy are not mutually exclusive. Case in point: I first wore it to a red carpet and then, a few weeks later, to a formal church wedding! The shape floats over the body for a classic, tasteful silhouette. The below-the-knee length and filmy skirt with shirred/lace layering create a neo-Victorian vibe. But the low back and deep v halter neck (embellished with rhinestones and a flirty sheer ruffle) are 100% va-va-voom! This is an extremely forgiving and comfortable dress; I never felt self-conscious or constricted. BTW I'm not really sure why this wouldn't fit on my very svelte dress form, but I had to take a few photos with the side zip open. In excellent gently worn condition. Measurements when laid flat are forthcoming. As always, from a smoke-free closet.
