hippietendency @jlhaukap Hi! I am no expert on this, but I believe it means the width. Somewhere I read that 4 means it is able to stretch up to a D width. I don't think the size of the shoe itself matters on this type.

hippietendency @jlhaukap I don't know the sizing, but I added some more photos if that helps. The sneaker is a men's 8.5. It fits in there very snugly. The boots are women's 9.5 and would definitely stretch them, too. I don't have any bigger sixes for comparison, but I have smaller sizes if you want me to show those.
