pamstefanik @pep4223 oh my goodness? Do you have a Double yellow head? I had one that died in 1994 of old age. he was in his 60s. My Mork 🥰 is an Orange Wing.....and my little buddy! what's your bird's name? I'd love to hear about him. I'm such an extreme bird lover 😍

pamstefanik @pep4223 Oh Mork is 40 this year as far as I know. he could be older. In April I will have had him 20 years. I'm his 3rd owner

pep4223 She's a Belize Yellow-headed Amazon. She's a subspecies of yellow head, but taxonomically they merged all subspecies of yellow heads into Yellow Headed Amazon Parrot. Pepper came from a rescue in Los Angeles, and she needed a home. She has abandonment issues, as she had many homes. She found her forever home when I found her. She's been a part of our family for 27 years. She is about 50-60.

pamstefanik @pep4223 I was just reading about Pepper in your MEET YOUR POSHER. I love that you saved her she's so beautiful. Thank you about the info on yellow heads. Pepper is beautiful 😍 Bless her little heart. I'm so happy to hear she has her Forever Home Mork runs my closet too. he's rooting around tossing things out to list. I'm overwhelmed! Lol. pep4223 I have seen Mork's out in the wild. They are truly worth fighting to save. I'm a lifetime member of the World Parrot Trust, and support their efforts. Pepper is on my shoulder now. She loves pandemics, as she is with me from sun up to sun down.

pamstefanik @pep4223 Oh you are so fortunate to see them in the wild. I love parrots so much. I agree they are worth saving. They are incredible and beautiful treasures. The DYH I had that died in 94 was abused for many years in a 5 and dime store in the basement of the store and was next to a monkey and both were in tiny cages. so so awful.

pamstefanik @pep4223 He was such a sweet boy. Mork had two bad owners before I got him. we spend lots of time together too. like you and Pepper. He's so precious 💖. I will look into joining the world parrot trust. Sending Much Much love to you and Pepper. I just could squeeze her. Such a beautiful feathered Angel!

pep4223 I do all I can to support parrot rescues who are reputable. Phoenix Landing is another good rescue organization. I also support Companion Parrots Rehomed (CPR) in Charlotte, NC. World Parrot Trust is an international organization that works on protecting parrot species from poaching and protecting habitat as well as reintroduction of confiscated illegally obtained parrots, and getting them ready to be released back into the wild.

pamstefanik @pep4223 I've been supporting a rescue in California and became familiar with it in Facebook. Prego Dalliance sanctuary. Monika.Sanger and her family runs it. I love all her birdies if I was wealthy I'd support many more and provide well for them. The rescues tear at my heart. I want to help all of the Parrots.
