jenedge @eriknkimmy @eriknkimmy hi...didn't want to post on actual White Chanel offering;) I thought to share this w u since ur an honest seller: "Right now, the most commonly used counterfeit serial numbers on CHANEL bags are :7244764, 8947749, 9316391, 9395451, 9395455, 9675223, 9777617, 9889754, 9892039, 10218184, 10380486, 10501946, 10995820, 11062948 and 10803549. Even counterfeits come w serial number card and matching # inside the bag.

jenedge Card should be black and gold, not laminated in plastic and the hologram inside the bag will pull apart if removed, thus ruining the tag. Please avoid purchasing a bag with one of these serial #'s. They are counterfeits. The tags, and authenticity cards provided with each bag is made to the same specifications today as they were 25 years ago, they are not changed". How long ago did you purchase?

eriknkimmy @jenedge your so sweet. Thanks so much. I did a bit of research but not nearly as much as you know. I appreciate your honesty and yes I too am honest seller my reputation is important to me. I have a question about serial numbers. Online it says 7 numbers. But many I have e seen on Posh look and promise to be authentic have 8 nunmbers. What's your thought on this?? Thanks.

jenedge @eriknkimmy depending on the year of the model there could be 5,6,7,8,9 numbers. Also don't go by serial numbers only. Good fakes have them too. Look at several other qualities. I'm sorry that this person misled you ... it's one thing I HATE about this business. I hope your puppy is okay...I'm a dog lover

passion4poshing @jenedge thanks so much for writing all that, it’s EXTREMELY helpful! I was, FINALLY, able to get my 1st LV, so I have my sights set on my next lux bag! (I’ve been looking at Chanel WOC’s, Balenciaga ‘Moto’, Gucci ‘Soho’, or a ‘Lady Dior’. Obviously, I wouldn’t be able to buy anything NEW, but I’m sure I’ll find SOMETHING that I can live w/. (I ended up w/ 1 of my ‘Top 3’ LV faves, in 9.5/10 cond, & mostly in trade! So, I’d say I’m cool w/ playing the ‘Long Game’! 🤣)
