Siam Niello Sterling Brooch and Clip Earrings

Made from 1930s-70s in Thailand (Siam). Given the style of earrings, these are likely from 30s/40s. Niello refers to: using a relief carving process, artisans hollowed spaces around the figures and filled it with a black enamel-like compound. The figures are from the story of Rama, Vishnu's earthly reincarnation. This earrings and brooch feature Makkala (lightning goddess) and Ramasoon (thunder god), Great condition! Not polished.
