These are the original cut. They later tapered the leg at the ankle. These are more straight. I LOVE them but don't fit in them...anymore! I have them in Nancy wash posted too. There is not really a tear but a stitch missing but I bought them this way. They can be sewn easily. THE PAIR SOLD HERE IS THE LIGHTER WASH NOT THE WASH ON THE MODEL.
