silkigypsy @clotheyou Auto correct is more trouble than it's worth! I mostly spot clean my wool. I sometimes like to give my things a soak & rinse with seventh generation liquid fabric softener. Makes it easy to reshape items when drying. If I buy something pre-owned & it smells funky or fragrance I don't like I'll use the rinse method either by hand in a little bucket or on super gentle in machine depending on what it is. Sometimes 2rinses are necessary! Makes wool less itchy.

clotheyou @silkigypsy to wash… very mild soap, tepid water in sink, gently press hat in water… repeat… rinse cool… gently press… NEVER AGITATE…NO WASHER… that would cause the wool to felt. Roll in towel to soak up moisture… lay flat on dry towel … block back into shape.. let dry:) REMOVE POM BEFORE WASHING:)
