Signed Early Mdina Malta Studio Glass Summer Blu Sea Sand VTG Coastal Granny MCM

This vintage glass blown collectible paperweight is a true gem for any collector. The Made in Malta sticker dates it from the Mdina Studio during the late 1960-early 1970's. This period is early in the Studio Art Glass movement, when Michael Harris moved to the island . The Mdina signature, also typical of early production, is etched into the bottom. The color pattern of blues and greens is Blue Summer, often called Sea and Sand by collectors Paperweight is solid smooth glass about 3.35" tall with a knob top. So beautiful in the light, the camera can't do it justice. No scratches or flaws detected, please see photos.
