Silk + Cotton Indigo-dyed Sheer Artisan Tunic

Soft tunic top from a collaboration between American Colors and renowned Midwest plant dye artisan Rowland Ricketts. These shirts were made in the USA, then locally dip-dyed with real natural Indigo dye. No two are alike. An airy, flowy, semi-sheer garment that will keep you cool during the summer. Naturally crinkling sleeves and collar, with a draped torso that remains elegant and breezy when worn. Slouchy yet sophisticated. Back neck gathers were professionally repaired and reinforced. There is some faint staining along the interior collar, and a few weak spots in the fabric, but these are not apparent when worn. While delicate, this shirt can be placed in a net garment bag and machine washed with a cold, gentle cycle and silk detergent. Placket neckline opening with collar. Pulls on over the head. Functioning buttons on 3/4 (three quarter) sleeves. Curved shirt hem is shorter at the sides. Loose oversized relaxed fit, but the fabric is NON-STRETCH. 70% cotton, 30% silk.
