Silken Flame Collector's Series Barbie Ornament from Hallmark dated 1998 The glamorous evening ensemble worn by Barbie combines two favorite fashions from the 1960s. The original "Red Flare" coat was velvet and the "Silken Flame" knee-length dress featured a white satin skirt. The bubble-cut hairstyle was new to Barbie in 1960.
