#1. Put the item in a new or used box. Wrapping in a lot of bubble wrap can, do the trick. If you don’t have neither - you should NOT be in retail or customer service. This is a business - we are not garage selling.
#2. Put the box/bubble wrapped item in a FREE PRIORITY BOX. We pay a high price for priority shipping. Utilize what we are paying for.
Too much money&time to receive damaged goods..

Agreed!! I’m so sorry this happened to you!

@jewelsandjets me too, thanks and its definitely not the first time.

Oh my goodness! I can’t even believe someone would think mailing it in a paper envelope with absolutely no protection would work. That’s ridiculous. I am so sorry. That’s my favorite ring - I wear it daily. All mail in envelopes goes through sorting machines… i’m surprised it didn’t jam the post office machines.
bvdesigns2012
@shesellssilver people don’t understand how rough the USPS is. There was tissue “paper” but def not enough.
shesellssilver
@bvdesigns2012 I don’t think they do either. Tissue paper is not a protectant. I’m still stunned that someone would actually mail something in a paper envelope without a box or bubble wrap. What a waste of a gorgeous ring.🙁

Oh no! I’m so sorry this happened to you!! It’s so disappointing 💔 sending a good hug your way and hoping Posh straightens Out the finance part of it quick.🤗🤗
bvdesigns2012
@saskicarrerabsq thank you!!

I’m so sorry this happened. I love this ring! So baffling that it was sent this way. It would have been so easy to use a free box from the post office that would have protected it.
bvdesigns2012
@evsjewels EXACTLY! Hopefully this post helps

Oh I feel sick for you. I just purchased one in a size 5 and it’s beautiful but sadly too small. I feel your pain. Good luck

Wow, thanks for this. I’m super careful and extra vigilant with anything I ship. I’m sorry about this.

Unfortunately I learned from experience sending earrings in packaging envelope. Never again! Always in a Silpada box or some kind of box. Thanks for sharing your post.

@jacquee59 I don't understand the 2k+ amount though..🤷...all in all I hope you get this straightened out... lesson to be learned which is why I video tape my sales going out (for the seller) and package well (for the buyer).
mizann2u
Oh well... some people are not too bright..sorry this happened to you..😒
katflashfever
any jeweler can tap that back to round for you...
shababy9
@mizann2u So attention is brought to this post! Ridiculous how someone could honestly ship like this with no protection in the packaging!

What a shame

I totally agree! I've received crushed perfume bottles, Jewelry and a shattered picture frame from sellers here on Poshmark that don't know what they're doing. Just throw it in a bag and ship with no forethought. Shame. Don't Accept! Open a return case...you'll get your money back and a shipping label to ship back as is.
disneygurl2u
Agree! I have received broken jewelry and it is so upsetting. A few I filed a claim on. Luckily I consider myself an amateur jewelry crafter so can repair a miner issue but this is still ignorant on the seller to not carefully wrap fine jewelry especially if it has glass or stone.
disneygurl2u
It is always kind to bubble wrap jewelry- sure it costs money and time but the buyer wants to get what they paid for! Do not sellers realize this?!? I do as a buyer and seller.
